Master Tool Mechanic / Precision Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d)
GUME is a medium-sized supplier in the development and production of customised moulded rubber and composite parts based in Bavaria/Tuntenhausen. Our solutions are used in industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, medical technology and infrastructure - wherever quality, precision and reliability are crucial. To strengthen our toolmaking team, we are looking for a motivated Master Toolmaker or Precision Mechanic Master – full-time (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
Responsibilities
- Construction of tools for the manufacture of rubber moulded and composite parts in SolidWorks
- Technical coordination with our customers' design department
- Programming of CNC milling machines / CAM (SolidCAM), operation of the die-sinking machine and production of tools
- Analysing and rectifying tool and production problems in collaboration with the production team
- Sampling incl. measurement of new tools / products
- Carrying out repairs and improvements to the tool inventory
Profile
- Completed master craftsman training as a tool mechanic/toolmaker or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study.
- Experience in the plastics or rubber industry an advantage
- Confident handling of technical drawings and a high degree of quality awareness
- High level of motivation to constantly develop within the team and yourself („optimiser spirit“)
- Reliable, independent way of working and ability to work in a team with production and technology
