Payroll and Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

We are GUME – a medium-sized manufacturer of moulded rubber, silicone and composite parts from Upper Bavaria. Our components are used in machines and products from Siemens, ASMPT, Krones, PARI, MAN, Magna and many other industrial customers.

In the summer of 2025, the new management team (both in their early thirties) took over the company and brought us back from short-time working to a growth trajectory within a few months. Since then, not only has our order intake been growing, but so has the complexity behind the scenes: more customers, more projects, more employees, more processes.

Responsibilities

1. • Carrying out ongoing financial accounting (debtors, creditors, general ledger accounts)

• • Preparation and execution of payroll

• • Maintenance and administration of master personnel data

• • Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of discrepancies

• • Creation of evaluations, statistics and reports

• • Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• • Communication with authorities, social security institutions and tax offices

• • Contributing to the optimisation of accounting processes

Profile

• • Completed training as a financial or payroll accountant or a comparable commercial qualification, e.g. as a tax clerk.

• • Work experience in finance and/or payroll accounting

• • Good knowledge of tax and social security law

• • Secure handling of DATEV and MS Office (especially Excel)

• • A careful, structured, and independent way of working

• • Discretion and a sense of responsibility

• • Teamwork and reliability
