Plastic and rubber technologist
GUME is a medium-sized manufacturer specializing in the development and production of custom molded rubber parts and rubber composite parts, based in Ostermünchen, Bavaria. To strengthen our production team, we are seeking a motivated Process Technician for Plastics and Rubber Technology (m/f/d) to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- You set up, operate, and monitor production equipment.
- You manufacture molded parts and composite components according to technical specifications.
- You take responsibility for quality by performing in-process inspections and conducting tests per specifications.
- You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production.
- You document production data and ensure a smooth material flow.
Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a Process Technician for Plastics and Rubber Technology (Verfahrensmechaniker Kunststoff- und Kautschuktechnik) or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment.
- Manual dexterity and strong technical understanding.
- Reliable, thorough, and self-directed way of working.
- German language proficiency (Native or C1/C2)
