Introduction
GUME GmbH is a medium-sized supplier for the development and manufacturing of custom moulded rubber and composite parts, based in Tuntenhausen, Bavaria. Our solutions are used in industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, infrastructure and other industrial applications – wherever technical precision, material expertise and reliability are crucial.
In summer 2025, a new management team in their early thirties took over the company. To implement the value creation plan, we are looking for motivated interns to support the new management for at least six months.
Responsibilities
- You are working on component calculation: material usage, cycle time, tool costs
- You help with investment decisions – our machinery park needs an update
- You optimise and analyse existing processes and take on your own projects in the technical and commercial fields
- You are working on topics that are on the management board's desk
- You work on what actually matters right now – not on what is left over for interns
Profile
- You are currently studying mechanical engineering, production engineering, (TUM) business administration or a similar subject
- You possess analytical skills and a high degree of initiative
- Initial practical experience is welcome, but not a requirement. We are looking for interest, not a CV
- You are interested in tools, elastomers and assemblies
- Proficient handling of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
