Toolmaker
GUME is a medium-sized supplier in the development and production of customised moulded rubber and composite parts based in Bavaria/Tuntenhausen. Our solutions are used in industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, medical technology and infrastructure - wherever quality, precision and reliability are crucial. We are particularly convincing when it comes to demanding special parts with our technical depth, optimisation spirit and solutions that others cannot deliver.
To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a motivated Toolmaker - full-time (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Design of tools for the production of moulded rubber and composite parts in Solidworks
- Programming of CNC milling machines and production of tools
- Analysing and rectifying tool and production problems in collaboration with the production team
- Carrying out repairs and improvements to the tool inventory
- Close cooperation with the development department of our customers
- Documentation of tool changes and support for continuous improvement processes
Profile
- Completed training as a tool mechanic/toolmaker or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience in the plastics or rubber industry an advantage
- Confident handling of technical drawings and a high degree of quality awareness
- Reliable, independent way of working and ability to work in a team with production and technology
